I then learned protools has a free program for people to try. I had a tech-savvy friend look it over to see if I was just crazy, but after two hours he had no more progress than I had made. Since the software is exclusive to Best Buy, I was unable to find any kind of online tutorial or suggestions online for it, and even after contacting Best Buy and Geeksquad, no one had used the software before and was unable to help me. Once you load it, the writing for the tutorial (with no verbal reading option) is microscopic on the screen, and when you expand the window to try to read it better, the text stays the same size up in the left corner while the window opens up to more blank space. The software was difficult - counter intuitive, not at all user friendly, and was poorly designed for computer - I’m not sure what else it was supposed to be designed for.
